Episode 017- Enemy of Debt: Brad Chaffee

Let me just say that Brad is one awesome , heart filled guy.

His website, Enemy of Debt , is one of the best I have seen. And it has a ton of content with the spirit of helping others do the right thing.

He constantly taps into his past and what he has learned  looking to pass it forward helping others. To me, that’s awesome!

Brad focuses on the psychology of why people spend, thus helping them avoid purchasing a lot of useless crap.

He doesn’t sugarcoat anything (my type of person) and tells it like it is……

He posts 2-3 times a week with the intention of motivating others with the attitude of  ”Just Do It”!

His second website, Enemy of Fat, was birthed with the passion for losing weight and his personal journey to health and fitness. Brad is the real deal in his approach and gives his followers updates on how he is doing.  Follow along and cheer him on!

I had the pleasure speaking Crystal Paine of MoneySavingMom.com .

I had the pleasure of interviewing the CEO of Short Sale Experts, Leon Cook.

He has a heart for helping others get through the difficult process of a short sale, as well as helping Realtors with their clients.

Leon mentioned that a Short Sale is much better then other options such as foreclosure and bankruptcy. It is a “hurry up &wait process” and Short Sales are taking on average about 4-6 months.

I consider him a kindred spirit in helping people overcome this trying time in their life.

Episode 014- Real Life Short Sale Story with James Dibben

Anyone who has been through or going through a Short Sale can relate to James Dibben. He has been through the fire and continually fights the battle.

Is it or was it easy? Of course not. But  he and his wife Julie, have kept their family together through these trying times.

Episode 011- Short Sales: Oh Canada, South Florida and My Book

I feature a couple of articles in this episode along with my usual “how to’s” and blunt points.

The first article is from Amy Ransdell of ShortSaleDailyNews.com. She explains the differences between the US and Canadian  mortgage markets and how we can’t hold a candle to our friends north of the border. Great information…..

The next one is from Toluse Olorunnipa of the Miami Herald: The Curse of Negative Equity. This article is pretty sobering and details real accounts on what home owners are going through. Some more great information….

Lastly, my book is going to the publisher this week. The title is….(drum roll please): “Upside Down: How we survived 7 short sales”. The title typifies our life when we lost over $6 million in the real estate and my income dropped like a rock. It was insane to say the least! This book is not just about the “how to” but has our stories  woven throughout, ….some ugly, some inspiring , very entertaining (hopefully)!

We are working on the book trailer and the landing page this week….will have a ton more details in the next show.

008- Short Sales and “The Compound Effect”
